UV - Turbo hoods

The latest solution for demanding grease filtration in professional kitchens. UV-Turbo hoods are equipped with TurboSwing filter unit including ozone-free UV-light.

Turbo hoods

Turbo hoods are equipped with an efficient TurboSwing grease filter. TurboSwing is based on rotary motion and it mechanically separates fat particles – even as small as 2 μm.

TurboSwing is very well suited for energy saving applications with heat recovery from kitchen and/or changing air flows. Filter efficiency remains very high even at low airflows.

Condensation hoods

Jeven’s condensation hoods are the most effective hoods on the market for removing condensate water.

The Jeven condensation hoods has a unique water and vapor separation baffle structure, condensate separators and edge grip on both long sides.

Condensation hoods are intended for kitchens, where a large amount of water vapor is released from kitchen equipment, such as dishwashers. Thanks to the modular design of the hoods, they can be manufactured without partitions.

JCE hoods

The Jeven JSI hood has been designed for kitchens where a comfortable, productive and healthy indoor climate is required.
JSI offers draught-free ventilation with first-class working conditions and thermal comfort.

The JSI hood is equipped with exhaust, supply and direction air, with damper plates and measurement taps.

JCE filter unit

JCE is a cyclone filter which is developed for the extraction of grease from professional kitchens. The cyclone separator works by centrifugal and impact principle and is suitable for filtering grease particles from the air. Thanks to its product structure, the grease filter is fireproof.

Each filter has its own grease cup, which separates the grease. The separators are easy to remove and wash in the dishwasher. The JCE grease filter unit is equipped with a circular extract air connection as standard, as well as an airflow damper plate and a measuring tap.

ROOF HOODS FOR EXHAUST AIR

Pyramid

The Pyramid out blowing hood is designed specifically for out blowing the exhaust air on the roof of the buildings. 

Pyramid roof hood blows exhaust air upwards with a high velocity and small pressure loss. The unique product structure of the Pyramid includes an outer shell, airflow baffles and top cover. It’s unique construction prevents water penetrating into the duct system, even when the ventilation is sometimes turned off. Pyramid has also very low construction, what makes it difficult to detect.

Ufojet

Ufojet is designed specifically for out blowing the exhaust air on the roof of the buildings. 

Ufojet includes the outer casing, air flow guidance rings and top cap, which is isolated and could be used as an access door.
The air is blown upwards with a high velocity and small pressure loss.
The unique construction of the Ufojet prevents water penetrating into the duct system and the inside of the unit from freezing.

ROOF HOODS FOR INLET AIR AND SNOW-LOUVRES

Kompass

Kompass roof hood is designed specifically for the intake of outdoor air on buildings roofs. The unique construction of the Kompass prevents water drops and snow penetrating into the duct system.

The profile and chamber construction is based on ø8 mm holes with large openings on the top and the bottom of the product, which means non-freezing construction. There is a large space for collection and storing the snow on the lower part of the Kompass.

Snowshield

SnowShield is designed for the protection of air intake vents, to prevent snow and water from entering the building. Thanks to its profile and cell structure, snow and water are separated effectively from the air flow. 

The main material of SnowShield is aluminum, which makes the structure frost-free. Air intake occurs partly from the sides and bottom of SnowShield. The roof part slants and the bottom part is made of perforated aluminum.

SnowShields water separation rate is 99,8% by the front face velocity 1,2m/s (VTT measurement report 5.5.2003).

DAMPERS

Inno

Inno is a damper for circular ducts. It is completely made from soft elastic plastic foam with good damping abilities. The damper has a number of oval openings equipped with releasable plugs. The pressure drop across the damper is adjusted by varying the number of open holes. Inno is usable with both supply and exhaust air valves.

Sava

Sava is designed for the air flow control and sound attenuation in supply and exhaust air duct systems. Sava is a perfect sound attenuator in cleaning doors, where it can simultaneously be used to control air flows in the duct. When Sava is used with terminal equipment, use of pressure reducing boxes can be generally avoided. The sound attenuation and pressure reduction abilities of exhaust valves are thereby improved decisively.

OTHER PRODUCTS

Monitoring unit SwingControl

Monitoring unit SwingControl has two versions:

  • SwingControl monitors rotation speed and function of TurboSwing equipment 
  • UV-SwingControl monitors rotation speed and function of UV-Turbo equipment

SwingControl produces an immediate alert upon failure, such as power failure or need for service.

Ansul R-102

Ansul R102 Fire Suppression System is especially designed for restaurant kitchens. It reacts to the flame and the resulting rise in temperature. The goal is to quickly suppress flames and prevent reincarnation. Ansulex extinguisher developed for oil burns is used as extinguishing agent.

Ansul Fire Suppression System is available to all Jeven hoods.
